What My $90,000 Radio "Lesson" Taught Me About Blogging

by Rob Blake on February 16, 2007

Before blogs came along, I was a certified talk radio junkie. OK, I still am, only now the addiction is now shared with blogging. As much as I enjoy the big time national hosts, I also really enjoy listening to the weekend radio shows that are largely self produced by professionals that want to share their knowledge and experience. I’m a particular fan of a mortgage focused radio show here in Denver called The Mortgage Insider Show . Rob Blake, and Terri Ewing use the show to inform consumers how the industry really works. They explain YSP in a such a revealing fashion that it would make any disreputable broker cringe.

Recently, Rob started a blog as well. The Mortgage Insider’s Blog puts his advice from the radio to print. I asked Rob to share his experiance on the similarities of Radio and Blogging. Linked are his thoughts on a strategy for marketing that works on both platforms.
