I am overwhelmed by the addition of all of this new talent on Lenderama. This is really a credit to Todd and the opportunity he has given us to be a voice at a time when the mortgage/real estate industry needs us the most. I’d like to suggest a proposal and am looking for comments from the other authors.
The authors are currently listed chronologically. If it is agreeable with the other authors and if it’s not too much extra work for Todd, I would like to see the authors ordered by post contributions. Maybe once a month we could total the author’s posts and rank them for the next month based on their efforts. I think that would create healthy competition and would be for the overall good of this blog.

In my experience, there seems to be a lot of strife in the mortgage world and that can carry over online. I own a mortgage co. in Florida with 40 LOs and I’m thankfully blessed we’ve really done a great job keeping the peace.
I thought it wise to offer up my parking space on Lenderama to those who contribute more.
But I won’t go down without a fight!

You know the old saying, be careful what you ask for, you just might get it. When I get in the “groove” on blogging, I can pump out plenty and I do on my main site. That being said, I will only blog on the mortgage market, particularly mortgage backed securities, at least for now.
Look, I like being listed last. It’s sort of like when they used to close the opening credits for WKRP in Cincinnati:
“and Howard Hesseman, as Dr. Johnny Fever”.
That was bas ass.
But anyway, if whoever comes in second wants to be on top, and everyone else is cool with it, I can make that happen.

You can be on top or bottom, you’re still the Blog King. I sort of like the bottom, though. It’s very “and special guest star Heather Locklear” on Melrose Place even though she was a weekly hottie.
