Last August, I proposed A “tax cut” everyone could agree on. This week, it came to fruition. I’d love to take credit for it. I seriously doubt I can. But that’s alright. It’s enough that the government actually did the right thing here and passed the Mortgage Forgiveness Debt Release Act of 2007. Kudos to the politicos.
I don't care if the Government was listening to me or not. It's just great to see they got something right.

Definitely a great gift, long overdue. Couple that with an AMT patch and things may well be jolly still this Christmas.
Definitely going in the right direction now. This bill, along with corrective measures by the FED, Treasury and big banks like Citi and HSBC will surely help to avoid a major recession in 2008. I have a strong feeling that the subprime crisis is going to start fading soon. At least, I hope so…
