Couldn’t resist this silly post. I was in traffic court yesterday (never mind why) and one of the defendants actually blamed the fact that he was speeding and hadn’t registered his car on the mortgage crisis!
”Your Honor, the only reason I didn’t register my car was that my mortgage went up and I couldn’t afford to pay the registration.”
”OK, I’ll bite. So why were you speeding?”
”I was going to the bank to make my payment and I had to speed or I would be late again and they would charge me all these late fees.”
I couldn’t make this crap up
