What the hey? You say?
Got an e-mail from Ed Rybczynski on the subject of my new “hyper-localized” blog [love that phrase...LOL], Ligonier Living. He asked if I would be using tags? I said, “No, I’m an anti-tagite.”……and immediately thought, hey that’s a good post for Lenderama, yuk-yuk.
Seriously, I didn’t tag the posts. I never use tags. There’s just something irksome about tags. I just don’t like them. I know I hear y
ou…I am an idiot, but maybe not.
Tags seem to me to push the read just a bit too much. You see, I like to let the garden grow in a natural way. I’m not into straight rows or weed-free or pesticides. I like to naturalize. It’s all a big experiment, what does well where, and that’s really the fun part of blogging for me.
Yes, we are working at making a living, but we have to live and find joy in little bits of things while we’re breathing.
Tags push the machine and make it hum and as Ed said, juice Google, or something like that. I’m not machine blogging. I
‘m using oil pastels back by the woodsline and seeing what grows.
It might be a chick thing. I’m not sure. It could just be a wacko thing.
[I guess I should never say never, because Todd has gotten me to tag, to no avail, a few posts with Inman. Nothing took root, but Inman might not be in season just yet.
