What is so interesting is all of the things that are quietly happening in the title world under the big media radar.

Folks, there’s lots we can’t really talk about in a public forum like this but believe me the stories will be fascinating when it all comes out.

It’s just a matter of time before the colorado division folds. Major financial issues with this company.

Just read it in the news. Guess the crisis is going to the next stage now, filtering down below the big companies. This is really going to hurt, if it spreads to more companies.

I have no doubt that there are many many fine people working for Mercury and whether or not the company survives, the business itself will.

Our community of mortgage lending and title insurance is filled with many players and over the years we have had to move and change with the times. Companies come and companies go, but the core, the heart, the important part of it all – those who have made this their chosen profession, remain.

Sometimes, due to circumstances we need to leave and take a break for a bit to make a living elsewhere, but the work has always come back and then we return. It’s a cycle as perennial as the grass.

I won’t say it’s not scary, but we need to just hang in there, do what needs to be done and wait it out.
