Last night Google shut down Title Insurance Talk, meaning I can’t post until a human takes a peek. How about them apples?
I’m pretty darn proud of that blog. It’s turned out to be more than I had ever hoped. Title Insurance Talk just sits there in the blogosphere answering common questions for parties involved in a real estate transaction or folks who are interested in title insurance. As I see new and interesting material, I add posts.
You can’t believe how many people ask the same questions over and over again. Well, cancel that, I’m sure you do. YOU probably have to answer the same questions over and over again all the time, right?
So, if you Google something like, “what does successors and assigns mean?” – you’ll get Title Insurance Talk in the search results because I answer questions like that. You know, simple stuff that you can’t find in a dictionary and no one else thinks is important enough to write about.
I may be canned ham, but I ain’t spam.
Diane,
sorry hear about your blog winding up on the infamous Google bot list… this can happen to any of us.. you might already be aware of this google help page – if so it can help someone else..

I hope you get your blog back up to 100% soon!
It was a 24 hour Google flu but we’re all better now.
I’m glad your site came back up so quickly! This is the first time I’ve been to this site. I found it from Eric’s dofollow list. Great resource!!!
Google is a very complication search engine. They are making changes all the time. They just don’t want spam to be in their search results so everything is studied, changes are made, and more data is studied. I ‘m sure I have been guilty of asking questions you may have already answered. Good luck!
Thanks! I love the fact that people are asking the same questions over and over again. That tells me people are really thinking about transactions and also that the subject of title insurance and the seeming mundane obscure details can be comprehended by anyone who can find a source to read.
