Why do I spend time watching and waiting for the Fed’s decision?

Yeah, I photochopped it!
To tell you the truth. I’m not sure.
Maybe just to be able to say I’m informed.
Well here’s the news.
“The Federal Open Market Committee decided today to keep its target for the federal funds rate at 2 percent“
Now, I’m off to read the text of the press release. You can to.
Just go here: http://www.federalreserve.gov/newsevents/press/monetary/20080805a.htm
Feel like leaving a video comment?

suprise, suprise. Well, what is next?
Maybe I should make that my new Avatar. I stopped listening to the Fed a long time ago. I’d rather hear what you, or Robert Ashby, or Dan Green thinks.
“Why do I spend time watching and waiting for the Fed’s decision?”
Cause you didn’t have anything better to do? If its any consolation, I watch hearings on C-Span…
You know me, guys. I watch the Fed because what the Fed does, more importantly says, moves the markets.
BTW, I read tax code as well, great way to save money, and numb the mind.
It must be the same as waiting for The Bank of England, to submit their decision after the monetary policy committee meetings!!
suprise, suprise. Well, what is next?
