THANK YOU for posting this. Google Frontline and human slavery for a great show on what takes place….and the sad scene of a woman who escapes and makes the painful decision to return. Horrifying.
He speaks from the heart. You can see the sincerity shining in his eyes. If more people were like him… Problem is that there’s a heck of a lot of subprime human beings who think they bear no responsibility for anything.
Slavery, child labor, child abuse, human trafficking, white slavery… Every country seems to have these. Women and children are abused and used cruelly. But the society is always turning a blind eye whenever a wife and her children were being beaten by a husband. It’s not domestic trouble anymore. Innocent–and defenseless–people are getting hurt…
Human slavery is another vile abuse of human rights being inflicted on defenceless people on a daily basis.
Such behaviour is still rife in emerging nations, but surprisingly in countries where people know better. Education, funding and better policing is the solution to this problem.
