Lenderama is moving forward without me.

Just over four years ago I turned lenderama into a blog to help me keep in tough with about fifty loan originating clients. I hoped 25 of them would read it. That was really the extent of my vision for this blog. It sort of exceeded my expectations. This blog has been read by hundreds of thousands of visitors. It features writing from some of the most forward thinking minds in the lending industry. It’s led opportunities I never imagined.

At the beginning of this month, I moved to Chicago to become the Social Media Manager for the National Association of Realtors. I’m using everything I’ve learned about social media over the last four years to help the association harness these tools to better communicate with it’s members and the public at large. It’s a huge opportunity. It’s a HUGE job. As a result, I don’t have time to drive the boat here at lenderama any longer.

Over the last week, I have come to a resolution with Bill Rice to take ownership of lenderama. Bill is one the first contributors to lenderama, and a respected mortgage blogging colleague of mine for years. It will be up to him how the site evolves in the future, but I know he’s the right guy to make it go.

I just want to say thank you to everyone who ever read, commented, argued, and especially contributed to this blog. Every bit of it is appreciated.

Todd – Everything changes. I’m eager and excited to see the changes you make over there. You got more than just me watching your back!

Todd is a hard, but great act to follow. He is going to be a powerful force for NAR and a great advocate for the betterment of our battered industry.

I have been in and around the mortgage industry for a long time and have a real passion for the mortgage and real estate industry. This passion has become even easier to take action on with the growth of social media and Web 2.0. With these two pillars, my ambition is to continue to meet and serve this community with Lenderama.com.

As I build on the foundation and vision Todd started please introduce yourself and lend your ideas, here are the best ways to reach me:

    Looking forward to serving you!
