How Long Until H.R. 1728 Makes It Through The Senate?

As we’ve reported earlier this week, H.R. 1728: The Mortgage Reform and Anti Predatory Lending Act has already passed the House and is making its way to the Senate.

While mortgage originators are still trying to disseminate the details of this new proposed legislation, one of the main concerns on everyone’s mind is the amount of time we have left to let our voices be heard.

For those of us who haven’t paid much attention to the political process of legislation and how it impacts our industry, the following video may help clarify the finer points of how a bill becomes a law:

Thanks, I figured it would help make this stuff easier to read. HR1728 isn't really an exciting topic, but it is important.
